Lower A/C Costs

Everyone loves the sun.  It feels good, it looks good and it does wonderful things for our lives.  However, in South Texas, the sun is not without problems.  Most homes in South Texas have high air conditioning costs which is attributed to the sun entering through windows and glass doors.  The infrared heat entering the home will heat any object it comes in contact with.  The more sun that passes through your glass, the harder it is for your air conditioner to cool your house.  If your air conditioner is working overtime to cool your house, it is burning more energy which can add up to a costly utility bill.

Lower A/C Cost

Lower A/C Cost Sun Control Window Film does a remarkable job of keeping the heat from entering your windows or glass doors.  No longer does the film have to be highly reflective to work for you.  The Oasis line of sun control films can keep out the heat without being noticed.  The film is there 100% of the time, no adjusting, opening or closing like with traditional shutters, blinds or drapes.  Our most popular Oasis films for heat control are Oasis 35% and 20% films.  The lower the percentage on the film the higher the heat rejection.
Example: The Oasis 35% rejects solar energy by 56% while the Oasis 20% rejects heat by 66%.  That is a considerable amount when your ordinary glass only blocks out 18% of the sun's heat. Consequently, the more infrared heat that is blocked out, the easier it is for your air conditioner to do it's job.  The more sun facing glass you have in your home, the more need for a sun control film.
